Welcome to MediConnect LLC. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, educational consultations, patient advocacy services, healthcare navigation services, memberships, and related offerings.

By visiting our website, booking an appointment, purchasing a service or membership, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

MediConnect LLC provides educational and consultative services designed to help individuals and families better understand healthcare information and navigate the healthcare system. Our services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or care from a licensed healthcare professional.

About Our Services

MediConnect LLC may provide services such as:

Healthcare education
Patient advocacy
Healthcare navigation
Review and explanation of medical records voluntarily provided by the client
Education regarding diagnoses or medical conditions previously identified by a licensed healthcare professional
Explanation of laboratory and imaging reports
Medication education
Assistance organizing healthcare information
Preparation of questions for physicians and other healthcare professionals
Support understanding specialist recommendations
Caregiver and family education
Assistance navigating appointments, referrals, and healthcare resources
Other related educational and consultative services

The specific services provided may vary depending on the appointment, membership, and information supplied by the client.

Important Limitations of Our Services

Educational Services Only

MediConnect LLC provides healthcare education, patient advocacy, and healthcare navigation services for informational and educational purposes.

Our services are intended to help clients better understand information they have already received from their physicians or other licensed healthcare professionals.

No Medical Advice

Information provided by MediConnect LLC should not be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or individualized clinical care.

We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, change medication dosages, order medical tests, perform physical examinations, or create medical treatment plans.

Clients should consult their treating physician or another appropriately licensed healthcare professional regarding all medical questions, symptoms, diagnoses, medications, tests, and treatment decisions.

No Provider-Patient Relationship

Use of our website, communication with MediConnect LLC, or participation in an educational consultation does not create a physician-patient, nurse practitioner-patient, or other licensed healthcare provider-patient relationship.

MediConnect LLC does not replace your primary care physician, specialist, emergency department, pharmacist, or other treating healthcare professional.

Medical Emergencies

MediConnect LLC does not provide emergency medical services or urgent medical care.

If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency department.

Do not use our website, email, telephone number, messaging services, or virtual consultation platform to seek emergency assistance.

Appointments, Payments & Subscriptions

Scheduling Appointments

Appointments must be scheduled through our authorized booking system or another method approved by MediConnect LLC.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact information when scheduling.

An appointment is not confirmed until the booking process has been completed and any required payment has been successfully processed.

Appointment availability is not guaranteed and may vary based on provider availability, scheduling capacity, holidays, technical interruptions, and other circumstances.

MediConnect LLC reserves the right to decline, cancel, or reschedule an appointment when necessary. When possible, reasonable notice will be provided.

Virtual Consultations

Consultations may be conducted through Doxy.me or another approved virtual communication platform.

Clients are responsible for:

Having a compatible device
Maintaining a reliable internet connection
Joining the consultation on time
Participating from a private and appropriate location
Protecting the privacy of their login information and consultation link
Ensuring that unauthorized individuals cannot hear or view the consultation

MediConnect LLC is not responsible for delays, interruptions, loss of connection, device failure, platform outages, or other technical problems outside our reasonable control.

If a consultation cannot be completed because of a technical problem, MediConnect LLC may, at its discretion, reschedule the remaining consultation time.

Payment Processing

Payment is generally required at the time of booking or enrollment unless otherwise stated in writing.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe or another authorized payment processor.

MediConnect LLC does not directly store complete credit card or debit card information.

Clients authorize MediConnect LLC and its payment processor to charge the payment method provided for purchased services, memberships, applicable taxes, and other disclosed charges.

If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise unsuccessful, MediConnect LLC may suspend or cancel the related appointment, service, or membership.

Monthly & Annual Memberships

Monthly and annual memberships provide access to the services specifically described in the selected membership plan.

Membership benefits, appointment duration, included consultations, pricing, and other features are determined by the plan purchased at the time of enrollment.

Membership benefits:

Are intended for the enrolled client unless otherwise stated
May not be transferred or resold
Must be used during the applicable membership period
Do not accumulate or roll over unless expressly stated in the membership description
Have no cash value
Are subject to appointment availability

Unused appointments, consultation time, or other membership benefits generally expire at the end of the applicable billing period unless the plan description expressly provides otherwise.

Automatic Renewal

Monthly and annual memberships automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the next renewal date.

By purchasing a recurring membership, the client authorizes MediConnect LLC and Stripe to charge the payment method on file automatically at the beginning of each new billing period.

The membership price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be disclosed before enrollment. Clear disclosure of recurring charges and cancellation terms is an important consumer-protection practice for subscription businesses.

Clients are responsible for maintaining an accurate and valid payment method.

MediConnect LLC may change membership pricing or benefits by providing reasonable advance notice. A price change will not be applied retroactively to a billing period that has already been paid.

Subscription Cancellation

Clients may cancel a subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal using the subscription-management link provided by MediConnect LLC.

Stripe’s Customer Portal can be configured to allow clients to cancel and manage their subscriptions directly.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase:

Cancellation stops future automatic renewals.
Cancellation normally becomes effective at the end of the current paid billing period.
The client may continue using remaining eligible membership benefits through the effective cancellation date.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically provide a refund for charges already processed.
Previously paid fees remain subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Clients should cancel before their next renewal date to avoid being charged for another billing period.

A request to cancel an appointment is not the same as canceling a recurring membership. Clients must separately cancel the membership through the Stripe Customer Portal or contact MediConnect LLC for assistance.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Appointment cancellations, missed appointments, late arrivals, refunds, subscription cancellations, and unused membership benefits are governed by MediConnect LLC’s separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

That policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the Refund & Cancellation Policy before purchasing a service or membership.

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, completed services and charges for billing periods that have already begun are generally nonrefundable.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Inform MediConnect LLC when information changes
Provide only records and information they are legally authorized to share
Review information discussed during consultations carefully
Ask questions when information is unclear
Continue seeking care from appropriately licensed healthcare professionals
Follow up with their treating healthcare professionals regarding symptoms, diagnoses, medications, testing, and treatment
Seek emergency care when appropriate
Attend appointments on time
Maintain the confidentiality of appointment links and account information
Use the website and services only for lawful purposes
Treat MediConnect LLC personnel respectfully

Clients remain solely responsible for their healthcare decisions and for deciding whether and how to act on educational information provided during a consultation.

MediConnect LLC may refuse or discontinue services when a client provides false information, misuses the services, behaves abusively, requests services outside our permitted scope, or fails to comply with these Terms.

Reliance on Client-Provided Information

MediConnect LLC relies on the accuracy and completeness of information and documents voluntarily provided by the client.

We are not responsible for errors, omissions, missing records, outdated records, inaccurate translations, incomplete medical histories, or incorrect information provided by the client or a third party.

Our educational explanations may be limited when the available information is incomplete, unclear, inaccurate, or unavailable.

Clients should confirm medical information and treatment recommendations directly with their treating healthcare professionals.

Third-Party Services and Links

Our website and services may use or link to third-party platforms, including Stripe, Doxy.me, Google Workspace, scheduling systems, payment processors, and external websites.

MediConnect LLC does not control and is not responsible for the availability, privacy practices, security, content, accuracy, or performance of independent third-party services.

Use of third-party platforms may also be governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual Property

The MediConnect LLC name, logo, website content, educational materials, graphics, written documents, and original resources are owned by or licensed to MediConnect LLC unless otherwise stated.

Clients may use materials provided during a consultation for their own personal and noncommercial educational purposes.

Clients may not copy, publish, sell, distribute, reproduce, record, modify, or commercially use MediConnect LLC materials without prior written authorization.

Consultations may not be recorded unless all participants have provided prior written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties

MediConnect LLC strives to provide accurate and helpful educational information. However, services and website content are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee:

Any particular healthcare outcome
That all information will be complete or error-free
That services will meet every client’s expectations
That the website or virtual platforms will always be uninterrupted
That educational information will apply to every individual circumstance
That a treating healthcare professional will agree with every educational explanation discussed

Healthcare information can change, and clients should verify important medical information with their treating healthcare professionals.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MediConnect LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of our website or services.

MediConnect LLC is not responsible for:

Medical decisions made by a client
Treatment decisions made by a client’s healthcare professional
Failure to seek timely medical care
Reliance on incomplete or inaccurate information
Technical failures outside our reasonable control
Actions or services of independent third parties
Losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by a client’s failure to protect account or appointment information

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to Services or Memberships

MediConnect LLC may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue a service, membership, feature, platform, appointment type, or business practice when reasonably necessary.

When a material change affects an active paid membership, MediConnect LLC will attempt to provide reasonable notice and will handle the change in accordance with applicable law and the terms disclosed at purchase.

Changes to These Terms

MediConnect LLC may update these Terms periodically.

The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

Continued use of the website or services after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal proceeding relating to these Terms or MediConnect LLC’s services must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

The invalid or unenforceable provision will be interpreted or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted by law.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Refund & Cancellation Policy, applicable membership description, and any written service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between the client and MediConnect LLC regarding use of the website and services.
